Established in 1996 in an old rectory, an 18th century building that was once a hospital of the Order of Santiago, it exhibits ethnographic pieces from the whole region of A Limia, mostly donated by residents from the area. One of the rooms it contains recreates the most important artisanal trades; another displays photographs, maps, etc., of the waterless Antela lagoon; another two rooms reproduce a traditional home and life in the rural environment; and other rooms are devoted to potatoes as the main farming crop in the area, as well as cereal and linen crops, where we can see weavers working this material.
