Building designed by Manuel Gómez Román in 1919-1923. In this building a moderate "Viennese secessionist" modernism is maintained with elevated prismatic forms which overrun the line of the cornice and are decorated with crowns, vertical garlands and cubes with plant motifs. The strong moulding of the ground floor and cornice provide horizontality, while the high chamfer with dome gives it verticality and achieves monumentality. Illumination is provided by large windows between columns with a base, shaft with rings, Tuscan capital and architrave.
