On this route you’ll be immersed in the mystery of Ribeira Sacra.

This train offers an alternative, lesser-known vision of the Ribeira Sacra region, but which is guaranteed to surprise and delight. You will visit the Convent of Las Madres Bernardas and have the chance to sample and purchase their homemade sweets and desserts before visiting the Arxeriz Ecomuseum, a space that offers an insight into the Ribeira Sacra’s wealth of ethnographic, historical and natural resources. The afternoon includes a trip along the River Miño on board a catamaran, taking you through breathtaking scenery dotted with magnificent examples of Romanesque architecture, including a stop at the stunning ‘Cabo do Mundo’ (World’s End) viewpoint. Later, you will have the chance to marvel at the ‘heroic viticulture’ and terraced vineyards perched on steep slopes of the Vía Romana winery, housed in a 16th century stately home and named after the Roman road that connected Astorga and Braga.
