PROTECTED BIRDLIFE RESERVE (ZEPA)

The Protected Birdlife Reserve (ZEPA) is a European-wide category of protection and it includes natural areas with special relevance in the preservation of birds, especially for those species that are endangered.

To achieve this goal it is fundamental to preserve their habitats and the necessary environmental conditions for birds' resting, reproduction and feeding habits.

The ZEPA birdlife reserves are distributed both along the coast and in mountain areas. These spaces, together with several other birding areas all over our territory, are meeting points for birdwatchers.
