Description

The Museo de Terra Santa is located in one of the cloisters of the Convent of San Francisco, in Santiago de Compostela. The upper part of the Claustro de la Inmaculada, dating back to the beginning of the 17th century, houses a unique collection in the world. By visiting the museum’s rooms, we can take a walk through history from Palaeolithic times to the forming of the State of Israel via everyday utensils. Through its pieces we can discover the great variety of cultures that left their mark on the Holy Land from different perspectives: archaeological, artistic, social and religious.
