The Church of Santo Tomé de Serantes, Romanesque in style, is located in a particularly beautiful natural setting. It dates, as we can see on its façade, from 1170. Its layout is rectangular, with a single nave. On the outside we can see its rich decoration based on modillions, which extend over the side walls. The main doorway is framed between two prismatic buttresses. On the upper part we see a rose window under a toric semicircular arch, which rests on bent columns.
Inside, it holds an interesting Gothic stone canopy which visitors would do well to discover before continuing on their way. Here we can observe a representation of the Annunciation.
