Since its inception in 1987, the date of this celebration is linked to Holy Week. The festival has maintained its headquarters in this town hall since 1999. At present, the fair continues to be a great cultural and economic event where popular traditions are preserved, such as the buying and selling of all kinds of wares, with cheese being the most popular product.

The fair begins at 9:30 in the morning and ends in the middle of the afternoon. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy trying the region's traditional products while being entertained by parades and a traditional dance display.

A distinguished guest will also give an opening speech.

The octopus is another fundamental element of this fair, and a visit to its stalls is a must for all those who come to the fair
