This building was built in 1910 by Manuel Gómez Román. It is the most outstanding example of modernism in Vigo, and has Viennese and Belgian influences. It consists of four floors, including the ground floor, and has a circular corner rising to an egg-shaped cupola finished in vitreous ceramic tiles. The openings stretch through two floors, giving the building a look of verticality, which is accentuated even more by the attics which rise above the cornice. Interesting decorative features include some prismatic bodies in the form of pinnacles which rise above the roof. The ground floor is lightened by a large arch supported by slender pilasters, which in turn supports a continuous balcony with curved openings in the parapet which are closed by wrought iron work tied to the stone.
