The Walk

From the parque dos Menhires to the Torre de Hércules
In search of legendary heroes

This route will take us along part of the coastline of the city of A Coruña, with a permanent view of the golfo Ártabro and the symbol of the city, the Torre de Hércules, a lighthouse of Roman origin that has been in operation for almost two thousand years and has been a World Heritage Site since 2009. We will discover various sculptures that will tell us about myths and heroes linked to these lands, such as the Greek demigod Hércules himself, or even Breogán. There are many paths and trails that cross the different green spaces of the parque dos Menhires, punta Herminia and A Torre, so it is best to let yourself go and discover the different corners of the route.
