Academic neoclassical style building, designed by Miguel Marín in the 18th century (1752). The design was partially modified by the military engineers Jorge Juan and Francisco Llobet. Since its inception, it was planned as a store for arms, including firearms. It displays a rectangular ground plan. The main facade is noteworthy for its horizontality. It displays symmetry in its spaces. A body covering the interior dome projects. The roof is amansardada. It is one of the major neoclassically inspired constructions within the military architecture of this coastal capital. Its magnificent entrance with the main staircase decorated with a beautiful iron banister is noteworthy.
