A small sacred art museum set up in the baroque rooms of the
monastery of Santa Clara where a collection of religious art is exhibited.
We can highlight two unique pieces of ivory and medieval gold and
silverware: the Virgen Abrideira, made of ebony and ivory with a
natural wood core; and the Cruz de cristal de roca, a compendium
of materials and techniques of medieval precious metals, both
belonging to the chapel of the queen who founded the monastery,
Doña Violante, the wife of King Alfonso X of Castile.
