The protected space includes the estuary of the river Miñor, almost completely closed in by the beach of
A Ladeira, which is over a kilometre in length. On this heavily populated stretch of coast, with its important
shell fishing and tourism acvies, we meet the mudflats of A Foz, where the river Miñor and the Groba
and Belesar streams meet the des.
The Sabarís observatory has large windows and telescopes available for looking at the varied fauna of the
mudflats.
