Description

It is the second most imporetant in the district and has the peculiarity that the roof is granite. Also known as Hórreo de Rianxo, it is completely made of stone, and as mentioned, even the two-sided roof is made with granite slabs. It has exterior dimesnions of 24.70 metres long and 1.50 m wide. It stands 1.50 metres over the terrain. Its construction began in 1910 and after a period of paralisation, work was finished in 1920. It is located within a field where Pazo de Viturro also stands, now functioning as a private hostel, open all year round. The hórreo is perfectly visible from outisde the property since it is right alongside the road that goes round the pazo.

Access

From Rianxo, and just at the exit towards Padrón, we turn off to the right towards Rianxiño (about 500 metres).
