A natural lookout point, A Moá is one of those places where you can get an excellent overall idea of area. At an altitude of 1,123 metres, this is a magnificent spot from which to survey the deep, wide Quiroga and Ribas de Sil valley, with sweeping views of the ranges forming the O Courel mountain system in the background.

A Moá marks the border between Ourense and Lugo provinces, and also a change in the landscape, from plains to low mountains, with a steep drop down to the River Sil.
