Lighthouse located on Queixal Point on Monte Louro. The physical features of the Galician coast, and the frequent rains and fog, have led to the coast being dotted with a large number of lighthouses. One of them is at Louro, consisting of a tower topped with a sealed cylindrical structure, which houses the beam of light and an optical system located the base of Monte Louro, and acting as a signal and warning for navigators on one of the busiest coastal areas in Europe.
