The Meira area is located near the town center with several restaurants where you can visit the Monastery of Santa Maria de Meira. From the Meira area you can start a hiking route that takes us to the Pedregal de Irimia, the real source of the Miño river. Following the course of the incipient Rio Miño, we will pass through the center of Meira and arrive at the town of Fuenmiñá, where there is a lagoon that Miño provides with the flow it lacked to become an adult.
