In the parish of Santa Mariña de Covelo, between the parishes of O Mangón and Pazos, in the municipality of Covelo, we find this waterfall, on the PO-261 road just after crossing the river. The Ponte Piñeiro stream is a tributary of the Tela river, and as it passes through the municipality of Covelo it forms a waterfall of more than 25 m. Part of it can be seen on the right bank of the road. Downstream, below the bridge and the road, there are several more waterfalls.
