From Soutomaior we take the road that goes to Ponte Caldelas and after 3 km it takes us to Aranza.  Here we have to climb up to Rúa Nova, in the upper part, from where we can see the canyon of the river. We will take the narrow path down to a watermill, where we will find the first of the waterfalls. Downstream there are successive 5 m falls and several pools. The falls and pools are found in the Oitavén river, which flows through this area with a great flow. We must be very careful as the route has some very slippery sections. It is not signposted.
