Leaving Agolada, we will take the PO-840 road, towards Melide, until we reach Ramil. Once there, we will take the road to Pambre (San Pedro). Shortly after, we will cross a bridge and then see a dirt road on the right, which we will take. We will soon reach a small oak grove where we will leave the vehicle. We will follow a path in front of us. If there is not much water we can go straight down to the river, passing a stone wall until we reach a canal that runs parallel to the river. We will continue along it, on the left, pass some meadows, and descend to the river through the last hedge that divides the meadow. There, along a fishermen's path, next to the river, we will walk upwards until we reach Pozo Negro (Black Pool) and Pozo Blanco (White Pool), in a truly fascinating environment where arbutus trees grow. It can also be reached by a forest path that leads to the Frádegas spa, the best option when the river carries a lot of water. The route is not signposted.
