In the parish of Argalo, in the municipality of Noia, we will leave the car and follow the old cart track that goes off to the left, approximately for 400 metres. We will go through a native forest of oak, chestnut, alder, and ash trees. The waterfall is about 7 metres high, making it the highest in Noia. It is advisable to go after several days of rain, as the Vilaboa stream usually has little water. Below the waterfall, we find other smaller waterfalls. The Vilaboa stream rises in the foothills of Mount Iroite and flows into the Noia Ria. The route to get to the waterfall is not signposted.
