A MIÑA VIAXE
On the outskirts
of the village of A Seara, in Quiroga, there is an old bridge that crosses the
river. Join the trail here that leads to Laguna de Lucenza.
After walking for
roughly 300 metres, you can see the Fócara waterfall on the left. Keep following
the River Murelos and climb up to the sign for the turn-off to the Fondo da
Petada waterfall.
From here to the
waterfall, it is just over 150 metres along a very narrow trail with brush
pressing in on either side. Additionally, at rainy times of the year you may
have to take your shoes off and cross a small stream, so you do need a certain
level of skill to make it to the foot of the waterfall.
