Description

The Montaña River is born in Portugal with the name of Corga do Azebedo. After a long journey, it flows into the Pacín River (a tributary of the Limia River).

To get to see this waterfall we go to Entrimo and, from there, we take the road that brings us to the place of Queguas. We leave the car before entering the village and continue along the path that goes down to the river.

A few meters further on we come to a fork, where if we turn right we will go to the Pozo da Ola and, if we turn left, we will go up the Montaña river.

The river forms a multitude of waterfalls and rapids along its route that, in some cases, give rise to small natural pools that will delight people who visit them on hot days.

However, the most important waterfalls are upstream, in the Corga das Rozadas (a tributary of the Río de la Montaña) and its tributary, the Corga do Fragón.
