Description

This Galician country house was built between 1620 and 1625. The façade´s most outstanding features are centred around a balcony, which projects outwards supported by three corbels and a rectilinear main door finished by a pediment featuring the coat of arms of the first Count of Maceda in its centre.
The building maintains its original structure with small modifications.
The building´s tower is of great historical interest given its role in the Irmandiño revolts. It was rebuilt in the 17th Century and underwent subsequent refurbishment (18th Century) substituting the battlements with a roof, blocking the arrow slits and opening new doorways, as well as covering the masonry with cement.
