House where the distinguished Galician writer Vicente Martínez Risco e Agüero (Ourense, 1884-1963) lived. He was one of the most distinguished members of the "Xeración Nós", especially following the publication of the "Teoría do nacionalismo galego" in 1920. In addition to his active participation in Galician politics, he has a founding member of the Galeguista party in 1931 and of the Galician right-wing party, "Dereita Galega" in 1933. His most celebrated works are "O lobo da xente", "O porco de pé", and "Nós, os inadaptados".
The house has now been turned into a rural guest-house called Pousada Vicente Risco, where a monographic collection of the author´s works can be found.
