Description

It has an 18th-century Baroque church, built over a previous one, probably Romanesque, judging by the structure of the vault and the shape of some blind windows. The monastery cloister dates from the 16th century, has levels and three wings, reminiscent of those at Lérez. The original church probably belonged to the early monastery founded by the Benedictines. Nowadays, neither one nor the other remains standing, although the construction is splendid not just because of its architecture, but also for the palace and the setting where it is located.
