The parish of San Miguel de Reinante (Barreiros, Lugo) has, since 1980, been bringing together dozens of folk dance and music groups from Galicia, other regions of Spain and all continents on the first Saturday in August, to celebrate the International Folk Festival of the Migrant, organised by the O Arco da Vella folkloric association. Recognised as a Galician Festival of Tourist Interest since 2007 for its uniqueness, popularity and the cultural value that it has earned over more than a quarter of a century.
