This festival calls itself the Feira e Festa da Música e da Arte, the Music and Art Fair and Festival, and has, since 1980, been organised by the Os Xermolos cultural association, dedicated to preserving and spreading Galician culture. Alongside the music festival, which features groups and artists from Galicia, Spain and different parts of the world (France, Scotland, Cuba, Portugal...), there are other events, such as craft exhibitions, painting, sculpture, photography, ceramic, and children’s art exhibitions, spaces for poetry, storytelling, a book fair, the “best dish” competition and the Mostra de Artesáns de Instrumentos de Música Tradicional (Traditional Music Instrument Crafts Fair).

The sum of all these ingredients makes the Pardiñas Festival an event that breathes creativity and freshness on all sides and enjoys the recognition of artists, creators, and the public.
