This building was built in 1889 by Jenaro de la Fuente Domínguez. Today the building is used as the central library, but prior to this it housed commercial premises and also the Casino of Vigo. It consists of a semi-basement and three floors, with a symmetrical facade with many paired openings separated by slender fluted pilasters. The main facade features shallow arches, fluted pilasters on plinths, architraves, friezes with serrated edges and filigree decorated cornices. The side facade in contrast is solid and has no ornamentation.
