This waterfall lies on the PR-G 14 Ruta do río Loio trail, which starts next to the A Ruxidoira playpark, in Paradela, and ends at the bridge next to the mouth of the Loio.

On this almost 7km-long, straight route, you cross areas full of native plants and see some restored mills and several waterfalls. The most impressive of these is the 8-metre high A Ruxidoira waterfall, which is 600 metres from the start of the trail.
