The waterfalls of the Tronceda river or Masma river are located in the municipality of Mondoñedo. The Tronceda River is born in the Serra do Xistral and flows into the Foz estuary next to A Rapadoira beach, in the Cantabrian Sea.

From the urban center of Mondoñedo we take the LU-160 road in the direction of O Valadouro. After 2.8 km, in the place of A Recadieira, we will find the signs to the Recreational Area of ​​Fervenza. Once in the recreational area we will park our vehicle to enjoy this recreation area that has fountains, tables and grills. In addition, we will find some natural pools in which to cool off on the hottest days.

The Tronceda River fits into a canyon here, through which it descends forming slides and waterfalls, the highest of about 15 meters high.
