From A Guarda we take the PO-552 that connects this town with Tui. Shortly after leaving the town, we will take a detour to the left in the direction of Loureza along the PO-354 road. Before reaching the village of Acevedo begins the route that will take us to the waterfalls. Along it we will see several mills. The Cal river is a tributary of the Tamuxe, which rises in the parish of Loureza, near Monte Valga. Access is not signposted.
