The sporting event 'Pantin Classic Pro', included in the world circuit of the World Surf League, is held on Pantin beach and welcomed about 35,000 visitors in 2015.

In the field of surfing, both in Galicia and the rest of Spain, the 'Pantín Classic Pro' contest occupies a very prominent place and is already one of the most important surfing events on the international calendar. It is the only international professional surfing event in Spain, one of the few held at this level in Europe and the third oldest internationally.

During its celebration, our community receives the best professional surfers who come to Galicia from all over the world. Thus, the championship, in addition to enabling attendees to know one of the many Galician beaches suitable for the practice of the sport and positioning our community as a surfing destination, allows us to show all the charm of coastal Galicia.
