Medieval fortress that underwent major restoration, the most significant in the 17th century, maintaining the blocks on the old walls framing the various parts of the building. Associated with the Luaces and Mariños of Lobeira. Worth mentioning are the stone gallery, across the town´s main street, with triple battlemented arches, balustrades and miradors; the robust towers, which make its military past evident, and twelve shields. The gallery joins the pazo structure with the Chapel of San Mauro, constructed in 18th century.
