We will take the road between Cerdido and Cedeira and leave the car next to the bridge that crosses the Mestas river.  We will follow the path to a mini power station and from there we will continue upstream. The access is not signposted. The Pombeiro or Porto do Cabo river, just before it joins the Pontellas river, has a small stretch with several rapids and waterfalls.
