This waterfall can be reached from Puente Basebe or San Pedro da Ribeira by following the hiking route PRG-93 Ribeira del Ulla. It can also be reached by car along a road that goes down in front of the church of Novefontes until it reaches the connection with the hiking route, which is indicated by a signpost. The access is signposted. The fall is located in a small stream that is a tributary of the Ulla river, the Dos Fungos stream, which here flows over a steep slope, with a drop of approximately 5 m.
