Building designed in 1897 by Pacewicz, implemented by master builder Dimas Vallcorba and promoted by the philanthropist José García Barbón. It is an eclectic-historicist structure containing Gothic and Romanesque elements. It has two volumes separated by a courtyard, which gives it two facades. The García Barbón facade displays a central axis of symmetry with two slightly projecting lateral bodies, projections and cornices which lend a marked effect of horizontality. There are two small balconies symmetrically placed and a large corbel and a balustrade decorated with eclectic-Gothic-Romanesque motifs. It combines flat and smooth surfaces, with single and double openings split by a column, and decorated with sobredinteles. All of this gives it a monumental aspect.
