Located in what was the “Escuela de Niñas” in Cee, built on the plot of the house where Fernando Blanco de Lema was born, this museum is an example of the work of great philanthropists who returned from America at the end of the 19th century, with the intention of promoting culture in their towns of origin. It is a must see in order to understand the history of Cee. It has one of the most important collections of scientific material in Galicia, where you can see from amazing apparatus from the old Physics, Chemistry and Natural History Laboratories, to the magnificent canvases painted by Federico Madrazo to praise the figure of Fernando Blanco and his executors. It also contains various pieces that are part of Cee’s past, from its inhabitants and from the region.
