Situated on Frouxeira Point, this blue and white lighthouse began operations in 1994. It has an avante guard design, distinct from traditional houses, and was built on a square ground plan. In 2008 it was comprehensively renovated, with the stair area closed off, leaving a series of windows at different heights.
The lighthouse is in the village of Meirás, part of the municipality of Valdoviño.
