Description

The pazo of San Xiao was built in 1790, on a rectangular ground plan, made from ashlar masonry and with a four-sided, tiled roof. Inside, it has an old mill, a dovecot, a magnificent example of a wooden hórreo and even a small chapel.

Access

From Santiago we take the C-540 to Mellide, and there, turn left along the Melide - Friol road. At km. 8, in the town of Fondevila, take the turn-off to the right, past a bridge and continue fore 1.5 km straight on to San Xiao.
