Cotorredondo is a nature reserve and recreational area in the centre of the O Morrazo peninsula, and belongs to the municipalities of Vilaboa, Marín and Moaña.

The area around the artificial Castiñeiras lake is notable for the wide variety of its trees. A nature workshop has been set up there to provide environmental education.

The Cotorredondo viewing point, at an altitude of 550 metres, affords broad vistas to the south of the Vigo estuary, in particular the cove and island of San Simon, with views of the Pontevedra and Arousa estuaries to the north.
