O Facho de Lourido is a 312-metre mountain with spectacular views of the Costa da Morte. Its name refers to light and sound signals directed towards boats at sea, for which high and easily visible locations were sought.

The sweeping views range from Cape Vilán to Cape Touriñán, one of the most rugged stretches of the Costa da Morte. Between the capes can be seen the municipalities of Camariñas and Muxía, with wild, beautiful beaches such as Lourido, nestling between countless rocks battered by Atlantic waves.
