This tree is well worth a detour to the Chapel of the Saviour, behind the monastery of Samos. It belongs to the select group of the 50 most notable trees in Spain and to the Galician Catalogue of Outstanding Trees. It is over 26 metres tall and its trunk measures 3.29 metres around.
