Our name, Araguaney, evokes distant latitudes. The araguaney (tabebuia chrysantha) is the symbol tree of Venezuela, which has a very showy yellow flower. In the Arab world, the term ‘aryuani’ defines a very bright yellow color. The araguaney is the inspiring essence of the hotel, because it unites the Arab colors and the effusive Latin American nature in the same denomination. Araguaney was the name chosen by the hotel's founder, Ghaleb Jaber Ibrahim, based in Compostela, of Palestinian origin and married to a Venezuelan.
