A MIÑA VIAXE
mailto:?subject=Content from Tourism of Galicia: FERVENZA DAS PONTES-DONÍS&body=I recommend you read the information FERVENZA DAS PONTES-DONÍS extracted from the Tourism of Galicia site on page https://www.turismo.gal/recurso/-/detalle/210602000082/fervenza-das-pontes-donis?langId=en_US%26tp=40004330
Parish: Donís (San Fiz)
Cervantes - Lugo
In order to see the As Pontes waterfall we have to go to the town of Donís and, once we get there, we will go down towards the civil parish of San Fiz and carry on until we reach the bridge that crosses the Bous stream.
This Bous or Piornedo stream starts in Penalonga and flows into the As Pontes river (a tributary of the river Ser). Throughout its course it forms several small waterfalls, pools and rapids.
It can be seen on its route from Piornedo to Mustallar, on the road that goes from Campo da Braña to Piornedo (before reaching Donís) or at the mouth, when it joins the As Pontes river.
IMPORTANT: It is not easy to see it as
you have to cross the bridge and go through an area with a lot of undergrowth
and a steep slope towards the river.
