Fondós waterfall lies on the River Erbedeiro which, before it joins the River Miño, forms a ravine with rapids and waterfalls. To get to this waterfall, take the N-540 road from Chantada to Os Peares or the road that leads down to the Miño canyon from A Barrela, in Carballedo.

The penedo do Graúllo rock lies on the left bank. This huge prominence is made mostly of Armorican Quartzite. 

IMPORTANT: As on any steep hillside, you must take due care and walking poles are recommended.
