A MIÑA VIAXE
mailto:?subject=Content from Tourism of Galicia: FERVENZA DO TOXA&body=I recommend you read the information FERVENZA DO TOXA extracted from the Tourism of Galicia site on page https://www.turismo.gal/recurso/-/detalle/210819000425/fervenza-do-toxa?langId=en_US
This trail leads to
the foot of the waterfall itself but it is worth taking a short detour to first
visit the Toxa viewpoints on top of enormous rocks which are an exceptional
place from which to take in the waterfall and the confluence of the Toxa and
Deza rivers.
After enjoying the
views, head down towards the heart of the waterfall through chestnut, oak,
cork, and laurel trees in the upper middle part of the path and willow, alder,
and ash trees on the banks of the river. A deafening roar and heavy mist from
the force of the water greets you when you get there. Look up to view the
waterfall which, with its 30-metre vertical drop, is one of the highest in
Galicia.
