mailto:?subject=Content from Tourism of Galicia: FERVENZA DOS CASARIÑOS&body=I recommend you read the information FERVENZA DOS CASARIÑOS extracted from the Tourism of Galicia site on page https://www.turismo.gal/recurso/-/detalle/210819000426/fervenza-dos-casarinos?langId=en_US
To get to this
waterfall, start out from Ponte Caldelas on the PO-255 road towards Verducido
and from there take the PO-9303 to A Eiro, or head out from Fornelos de Montes
along the same PO-9303 which climbs through the Serra de Suído
mountains. Either of these routes will
take you to the A Airoa recreation area, where you can park up before
continuing on foot.
You will find an information board
here detailing the route to follow, so there’s no need to worry about getting
lost. First, walk a short distance to the top of the hill where there is a
bench from which you can take in the waterfall in all its glory from a
distance. From there climb down
to the foot of the first of the waterfalls and then continue on a short
distance and climb up to the second. The walk is not difficult but you do have
to take care to avoid slipping especially when there is heavy rainfall.
