To get to these waterfalls, take the N-550 from Valga towards Caldas de Reis and, when you get to O Pino, take the turn-off on the left towards Raxoi.
There are directions from here to the Raxoi waterfalls and the Parafita mills. Park up when you reach the start of the trail and continue onfoot. Walk 500m through a thick riverside forest down to the river, where thereis a restored mill and a wooden walkway that makes for a pleasant strollthrough this riverside area.
Heading up the River Valga which, at this point, forms severalrapids, you come to the first waterfall, which falls from a height of 10 metresinto a natural pool. There are some stairs next to this first waterfall up tothe second waterfall, which is some 6 metres in height.
