A MIÑA VIAXE
mailto:?subject=Content from Tourism of Galicia: POZO DO ARCO&body=I recommend you read the information POZO DO ARCO extracted from the Tourism of Galicia site on page https://www.turismo.gal/recurso/-/detalle/211014000144/pozo-do-arco?langId=en_US%26tp=40004330
In the parish of Burgueira (Oia),
in the Baixo Miño region, you can find this small circular route of just over
one kilometre that runs along the banks of the River Tamuxe, also known as the
River Carballas.
The
walk starts in the Pozo del Arco recreation area, an area of pine trees with
benches and picnic tables. A little further down is the wooden bridge that
crosses the river where you can see the waterfall from above.
On
the walk you can observe how the river forms rapids and small waterfalls as it
descends that create natural pools that are deep enough to take a dip in on hot
days.
