We will take the road from Agolada to Vila de Cruces, and after passing Brántega we will reach a bridge that crosses the river, where we will find a recreational area. From there, we follow the banks up and down the river. We find it in the Arnego river, a tributary of the Ulla river that rises between the Sierra do Faro and the Pena de Francia, joining the Ulla river in the Portodemouros reservoir. The river has several stretches in which it fits in the form of canyons, rapids and small waterfalls. On its banks are preserved the best protected groups of cork oaks in Galicia, the Sobreiral del Arnego. The route to the waterfall is not signposted.
